Hello my name is Anna Sharp and I’m from Roseville, Ca. I’m writing this directly for my friend Holly Marie. She lost everything in the Camp Fire and we’d be honored to raise funds to replace everything she’s lost.
This is literally all our friend Holly was able to grab as she was being evacuated from the Camp Fire.
Her pets.
(Not pictured are her cats, her chickens, and three other dogs that made it out with her.)
She left her purse, which contained her drivers license, her cash, and her atm card.
But she damn well got her pets out.
I know there are a ton of Facebook fundraisers going on right now for people who lost their homes in the fires. I know.
But I actually know this person.
I know all the good that she does for animals in need in her community. And I know that she’d rather go without and make sure her animals are taken care of first.
I’ve seen her dedication to her pets take front seat to anything else in her life right now, including herself.
I’ve seen sheer exhaustion on her face. Bloodshot eyes from smoke. And borrowed clothes hanging on slumped shoulders. Yet she drove all the way to meet me just to pick up dog food and dog beds for her babies.
I know that she lost everything but is too proud to ask for help. She just won’t do it. She feels like everyone else needs it more.
So this is me... asking FOR her.
Because I know in my heart that she’s just as important as everyone else.
And she’s EVERYTHING to those animals she packed out of there.
Holly literally has NOTHING. We’ve helped with supplies for her pups but she would rather have a bag of dog food over a hot meal for herself.
This is me asking you to open your hearts and wallets and spare $5 for a complete stranger.
That’s it. $5. That’ll get her a pair of socks. And that’s a start. The next $5 will get her a toothbrush and toothpaste. And then it keeps going, and she can begin rebuilding her life.
Thank you you for listening.
You know I would never vouch for someone unless I REALLLLLLLLLY know them.
And I know Holly.
She’s a good egg.
She does so much for so many others.
It’s time we do something for her.

*funds will be deposited directly into my personal account. A balance of $4,000 has already been given to Holly so that she did not have to wait for this campaign to close. The remaining balance will then be transferred to her once the campaign is completed.
