A fellow pilot in need

Hi, my name is Carlos, and I’m a member of the paragliding community. My friend Aroni, who is also part of that community and resides in the Dominican Republic, asked me to help him raise funds for the following cause:

Recently, his wife was diagnosed with "Advanced Urothelial Carcinoma” (bladder cancer). She has gone through various treatments, including surgical procedures to deter its progress. Now, the next step is transporting her to Spain, where she will undergo more advanced treatments that aren’t available in the Dominican Republic.

Their financial resources have been exhausted. Not only has my friend Aroni had to deal with his wife's medical condition, but he himself has gone through several financially taxing situations, including a paragliding accident that put him in bed for over six months not too long ago.

They are going to need funds for the air tickets to spain as well as any other medical expenses incurred during their stay there. We are appealing to your kindness, and we are asking those in the paragliding community, as well as anyone else who is moved by this situation, to please contribute to this cause. Any donation will be greatly appreciated.
