A member of our regiment is at the end of his rope. Although it has been more than a year since the pandemic hit Canada, it still weighs heavily on every aspect of our lives. For one young member, this may mean losing his job, his home, and his future.

This member is currently in an unstable home situation. His job has been gravely affected by the last lockdowns. He has been working tirelessly for the regiment at every opportunity, making hardly enough to stay afloat. This young man is doing what he can to make ends meet but he has no one else to rely on.

We have shown great resilience through this troubled year together. Every day, I am heartened to see the connections and camaraderie we have maintained over this time apart. This is once again an opportunity for us to stand together. Rarely before was there ever a more pressing time - for one of our own is in desperate need.
