I am now a disturbed grieving mother and grandmother due to gun violence in the city of Memphis, TN.

My name is Chandra Dyson and my son was gunned down by the hands of others in broad daylight, execution style, with an assault rifle. Minding his own business, he went to the nearby store to get juice and snacks for his children and never made it back to them. My son was a great father. He only had 2 years to spend with his loving children. His children changed his perspective about life itself, as you can see in his smile while looking at them in the pictures. In this moment, it's all about the children that have been left behind fatherless. It hurts tremendously thinking about my grandchildren and how they are going to be looking and asking for their father, who has been taken from them in this cold world.
