A Father’s Final Fight

Tsika Georges Bernard traveled from the Congo to the United States seeking treatment for prostate cancer, holding on to hope for the sake of his wife and children. Despite his brave fight, he sadly passed away in the US, leaving behind a grieving wife and children who are still in the Congo, now overwhelmed by medical bills and debt.

Tsika’s journey was marked by courage and love for his family. He faced every challenge with determination, hoping for more time with those he loved most. His family supported him from afar, doing everything they could to help him through his treatments and keep his spirits high, even across continents. The loss of Tsika has left a deep void in their lives, and they are now struggling to cope with both their grief and the financial burden left behind. The children, separated from their father at the time of his passing, are hoping for the chance to travel to the US to see him one last time and say their goodbyes, or, if that is not possible, to bring his body home to the Congo so the family can be together to mourn and honor his memory.
