A Father's Fight to Rebuild After Fire Destroys Family Home

Hi everyone,

I'm reaching out on behalf of my friend and co-worker, Brian Diggs, a dedicated father of two young children and a loyal dog dad, who has been through more this year than anyone should have to bear.

On August 8, 2025, tragedy struck again — a fire broke out in the home they were living in, and the smoke damage destroyed nearly everything they owned. With no renter’s insurance, the loss has been overwhelming and completely life-altering.

Thankfully, some family members in Florida opened their doors, offering Brian and his kids a temporary safe place to stay. But the reality is that they’ve lost almost everything — clothes, furniture, toiletries, school supplies, toys, and everyday essentials that make life feel even a little bit normal, especially for the children.

Despite everything, Brian continues to push forward for his kids. He's doing everything he can to rebuild from scratch — but he can’t do it alone.

I’m asking for your help in getting Brian and his family back on their feet. The donations will be used as follows: remodeling the entire interior of the home (includes smoke removal service and cleaning)- $105,000, furniture- $7,500, clothing- $2,500, household basics (small appliances, towels, curtains, pillows, blankets etc.) $5,000, and anything that can provide some stability and comfort as they work to recover and rebuild.
