A Father’s Fight: Help Vic Recover After a stroke and Medical Crisis

A sudden medical crisis can change a family’s life in an instant. Right now, Vic and his family are facing that reality.

This family has always been the kind of people who give without hesitation and never ask for anything in return. Vic is a devoted father, loving husband, and hardworking provider who has always put his family first.

Their first hospitalization happened after severe high blood pressure and signs of congestive heart failure, bringing sudden fear and uncertainty into their lives. Then, only a short time later, Vic suffered a stroke that left him without movement on his right side. What began as one medical crisis quickly became many, with multiple hospitalizations, mounting stress, and now a long stay in rehabilitation ahead as he works to regain strength and function.

Despite these challenges, Vic is working hard every day in rehabilitation, determined to regain strength and independence for his family.

Through it all, they are still trying to care for their two young children, ages 4 and 9, an older daughter, and aging parents while navigating this overwhelming situation.

They are also coping with financial uncertainty as Vic does not have paid sick leave, creating additional stress during a time when their focus should be on healing and family.
