Hi everyone! My name is Estefani Cuellar & I am starting this page for the sake of my father. If you didn't know who he is, let me go ahead and tell you a little bit about him... his name is Miguel Angel Cuellar, age 46, and a father to a family of 6.

Ever since he's been here in the US, he's always been a hardworking man and worked endlessly for his family. He has been our solid rock all these years and was there for us when we really needed him. He is the best father out there, always making sure his family had everything before he did and putting everyone's needs before his own, which in this case has cost him a lot, unfortunately...

A few months ago, he was home since he works construction and it was bad weather. While he was home, he was eating and fell unconscious out of nowhere. After gaining consciousness, he complained about severe pain around his chest. My mother suggested he get checked out, but he is like any other parent... not wanting to go to avoid worrying his family or scaring himself about what could be the potential issue. Fast forward, he did get checked by a few doctors and has been diagnosed with a heart condition.

After these findings, the doctors have put my father on so many different medications and with a stick-on heart monitor. This has been mostly ineffective and not so helpful since he works construction and it begins to peel every time he is working. With all this going on, he has been stressing financially but has not opened up to us that much since he does not want to put the financial burden on us. But for my father, I am willing to go above and beyond to try and help!

In his recent checkup, we got more concerning news that he will be requiring some type of device that starts at the price of $45,000 and will need to be implanted to check and monitor his heart since his heart is very accelerated. Additionally, the medication seems to not be helping that much. Furthermore, the doctor broke the news to my parents that he might not be able to work in the heat anymore, but in this case, what else can he do for a living if that's all he's done ever since he's been here?

All of this has put my father in a place of stress and hopelessness, and I would love to be able to help my father one way or another.
