I am a native American who has lived and raised my family in Israel. I work as a translator and writer. I live in the Galilee, the North of Israel. My son, Adam Rosenfeld, is a loving father of eight children (ages 10 to 22) and a devoted resident of Jerusalem, who is facing overwhelming challenges caused by a war injury he sustained while serving with the Israel Defense Forces.
During the Second Lebanon War in 2008, he suffered a severe hearing injury in combat. Over the years, the damage has led to chronic fatigue, physical strain, and daily exhaustion, making it harder and harder for him to work consistently and support his large family.
Despite all of this, he continues to raise his children with remarkable strength, love, and dedication. But the reality is that he can no longer keep going without help.
His medical condition now requires comprehensive treatment that is not fully covered, and his family urgently needs a stable and secure home where he can focus on recovery and where the children can grow with peace of mind.
