Hello, my name is David Robinson. I am the father of Daniel Robinson, a geologist who went missing on June 23, 2021, after leaving a job site in the Arizona desert. From that day forward, my life became consumed by one thing—finding my son and demanding answers.

For nearly five years, I searched relentlessly. I organized and personally funded dozens of desert searches, traveled repeatedly to Arizona, followed thousands of leads, distributed flyers nationwide, and conducted my own investigation when systems failed us. I sacrificed stability, savings, and normalcy because no parent can walk away from their missing child.

Those years of searching came at a devastating personal cost.

I have taken on the financial burden on my own. I used my savings, credit, retirement resources, and every available means to search for Daniel. As a result, I am now carrying overwhelming debt tied directly to those efforts, including travel, lodging, equipment, printing, transportation, and living expenses that I postponed or put on credit while searching. The financial damage did not end when the searches slowed; it followed me home.

This fundraiser is separate and is not to finance ongoing search operations or advocacy work.
