Chris has been my everything for 20 years and as all of you know, he has been my rock, especially in the last year while I was sick with chemo and while I was getting treated for Colon Cancer. Luckily and thankfully I’m still in remission. Due to the the medical bills from the cancer treatment we can no longer afford health insurance. It turns out that during all that time he was having stomach pain. We visited a few hospitals at the end of last year before my chemo started but they all said it was ulcers and sent us on our way. It made sense at the time because being my rock it would naturally take a toll on him. However, recently the symptoms got much worse. The pain worsened and new more severe symptoms have come up. He went to the hospital about a week ago and after many many tests they believe he has Whipple Disease and a celiac artery aneurysm. It is all treatable but the type of Whipple’s he has means there is a long road ahead. It means weeks at a time at the hospital on IV antibiotics dailey but first they need to treat the aneurysm. Due to this he has been unable to work his landscaping job, which they actually believe is the cause of the wipples disease. As much as I too am his rock , I’m unable to help as much as I could with any of these hospital bills and daily bills ,due to my own limitations. Any help you can give would be much appreciated and would definitely help ease Chris’s mind in all this.
