Hi, my name is Ester and I am fundraising for my father in the Philippines who got hospitalized last January due to lung problem and shingles. He has an asthma and having maintenance for it. However, when he had the shingles last December, it weakened his immune system which accumulated significant amount of fluids in his lungs. That's why the doctor needed to attach a tube in his lungs in order to be drained out. After couple of weeks of draining the fluid and running some test on him, the doctor diagnosed him with a swollen brain which paralyzed his left side of the body and he have problems falling asleep. With several weeks of sleepless nights, his body became weaker. Now, we are still figuring out what to do as we are running out of funds to do more procedure for him to heal. He is a very good and loving father and he had always worked hard for our family to provide and have at least a decent life. So I am knocking to your good and kind heart to help my father to gain his normal life back and make funny jokes to us again.
