My boyfriend, Leonel Tanya, a lawful permanent resident, was unexpectedly detained by ICE while traveling. This has been especially hard on his two daughters, who depend on him as a loving and devoted father.

Leonel is a compassionate, service-driven person who works in Nashville as a mental health and substance abuse counselor, helping others heal and rebuild their lives. He is deeply involved in health and wellness and is known for his kindness and commitment to the community.

We are now facing unexpected expenses related to immigration legal support and basic needs during his detention. The cost of attorney fees, potential bond, travel, phone calls, and temporary loss of income has quickly become overwhelming.
