Our dad, Tom, passed away early morning on 11/12/25 after years of fighting through one health issue after another. Losing him has been very heavy for all of us, and now we’re trying to give him the simple, dignified goodbye he deserves. The funeral and cremation costs are expected to be around $5000-$6000, and it’s more than our family can manage right now.

My dad never lived halfway. He was stubborn, passionate, and completely and unapologetically himself. He was a lifelong musician, an artist, a podcaster, a storyteller, he questioned everything, and he lived more lives than I can possibly imagine. He was kind and cared about others deeply. He taught me how to stick up for myself and gave me my passion, and my fire. He was a father, grandfather (papa), a brother, relative and a friend to so many.

There are four of us "kids", and we’re pulling together the best we can. One of my brothers is leading most of the arrangements. I’m juggling this while preparing to leave the country for long-term travel. My brothers are each dealing with their own financial strain. We want to honor our dad, but we simply can’t cover this alone.
