Assist Christy and sons in their time of loss

We are heartbroken to share the news of the passing of Mark Martell, who tragically lost his battle with heart failure. Mark was a beloved husband, father, sibling, and friend who touched the lives of everyone he met with his sassy personality, quick wit, generosity, and absolute love for his family.

Mark was there for his wife and sons through thick and thin. As a loving and supportive husband of Christy for 25 years, he offered unwavering encouragement, kindness, and understanding with a bond that never separated their love.

Always present in Nikko, Marc-Adam, and Justin’s lives; he was their baseball coach and bonded with them as White Sox fans.

Mark was all about raising sons into men, not just about guiding them to maturity but inspiring them to embody integrity, respect, and strength of character. In his faith-based beliefs, he taught them empathy, to stand tall in adversity, and to value honesty and accountability. They are the most respectful young men because of his guidance.

Mark had a “nerdy side”! He loved everything Marvel, DC, and was a huge Godzilla fan! His greatest love was for his ’94 Big-Body Cadillac! He was a part of the “Low Riding” Community because of his Cadillac love!

His passing left a huge hole in his family’s heart and has left his family unprepared for the financial burden of funeral expenses during this incredibly difficult time.

We are reaching out to friends, family, and the community for support to give Mark the farewell he deserves and help ease the financial strain on his beautiful wife and sons. Any contribution, big or small, will go directly toward covering funeral costs and related expenses.
