A Farewell for Phil Stone

On Wednesday morning, our beautiful friend Phil Stone lost his battle with his mental health and tragically took his own life.
Phil was deeply loved by so many people. He was kind, funny, loyal and the sort of man who would quietly carry the weight of the world whilst still showing up for everyone else. Behind the brave face he wore every day, he had been struggling for a long time.
He leaves behind his loving partner Stacey, his best friend Muzzie, his family and countless friends who are now trying to navigate a world without him in it.
We are raising money to help give Phil the send off he deserves and to support the costs of his memorial, so the people who loved him most can focus on grieving and remembering him properly.
In honour of Phil, Muzzie will be climbing the Welsh Three Peaks on Saturday 6th June… wearing a pair of Melksham Rugby Football Club’s legendary budgie smugglers. Because if Phil taught us anything, it’s that even in the darkest times, laughter matters too.
Anyone who would like to join the climb is more than welcome, with or without the budgies and for all or part of the journey.
Any additional funds raised will be donated between Phil’s church, St. Michael’s and All Angels Church, and men’s mental health charities in his memory.
Every donation, share and message of support means more than words can say right now.
Rest easy, Phil
