A Farewell for Nicole: Seeking Your Help
Donation protected
It is with profound sorrow that I share the news of my beloved wife, Nicole Ramos-Franklin's passing on April 27, 2025. Her absence has not only created a void in my life but also in our community, where her influence was deeply felt. As her husband, I was unprepared for this loss and the associated funeral costs. I have initiated this account to seek financial assistance in covering the funeral and burial expenses, to ensure a modest and respectful farewell for my wife. Your support, in any form, would be a tremendous help and is deeply appreciated.
I met Nicole in 1998, and we married under the pastoral guidance of my late Grandmother, Minister Mildred Wells, in 2010. Our marriage was a great joy and wonder, but we faced many challenges; Nicole had weathered a host of medical complications from a young age, and these conditions remain present in her adult life. These challenges, which we faced together, have been a significant part of our journey, and your support would mean a lot to us.
As her husband, I rose to the occasion and maintained our household and her medical stability with unwavering dedication. This included but was not limited to medication maintenance, appointments, procedure follow-up, and support with her active daily living regimens.
My service to my wife was one I took seriously, from the day we made our vows to one another. I work full time and as an entrepreneur; this has allowed me to support myself and my wife to date. However, we have lived minimally financially, due to her illnesses and needs.
As a result of Nicole's pre-existing medical conditions, it was difficult for me to acquire life insurance for her. When this matter was presented to her immediate family, I was informed that she had had a policy from a young age. Upon receiving this information, a wave of relief washed over me, and I didn't pursue my policy further, understanding that we were financially secure in the face of her illness. This relief was short-lived, as the policy maintained by her family recently lapsed, leaving us in a difficult financial situation. Hence, me having to explore the support of my family, friends, and networks towards my wife's funeral and burial expenses.
I am deeply grateful for the support you have shown at any level, and I will keep you updated on our progress. Your continued support is invaluable and greatly appreciated.
