Como muchos de ustedes saben, Fanny fue diagnosticada con carcinoma papilar de tiroides. Aunque inicialmente con su apoyo y los $88,070 pesos recaudados previamente se consideraba bajo control tras sus primeros tratamientos, recientemente la situación ha dado un giro urgente.

En junio de 2026, Fanny y Omar tuvieron que trasladarse de emergencia a Morelia para recibir los resultados de nuevos estudios. Lamentablemente, el informe de la biopsia por aspiración (Laboratorio CELTE ) reveló que el cáncer sigue presente, localizándose ahora en un nódulo en el hemicuello izquierdo. Esto significa que Fanny requiere de una nueva intervención quirúrgica inmediata y tratamientos oncológicos adicionales para frenar el avance de la enfermedad.

Fanny y Omar son una pareja extraordinariamente trabajadora que vive del turismo y de una pequeña tienda familiar en Barra de Potosí, una hermosa zona semi virgen cerca de Ixtapa Zihuatanejo. Omar se dedica a ofrecer paseos en lancha, pesca y avistamiento de ballenas, mientras que juntos sostienen a sus dos hijos, Julián y Karla.

¿Cómo se usará tu donación?

Nuestra meta es recaudar 300,000 pesos más de lo ya recaudado, los cuales se destinarán íntegramente a cubrir:

Fanny y Omar siempre han sido los primeros en tender la mano a su comunidad ante cualquier desastre natural o crisis vecinal. Hoy, el cáncer ha vuelto a tocar a su puerta y nos toca a nosotros no dejarlos solos en este segundo round.

Hello, my name is Paulina, and I am reactivating this donation campaign to, once again, support two deeply important people in my life: Fanny and Omar.

As many of you know, Fanny was diagnosed with papillary thyroid carcinoma. While we initially believed the situation was under control following her first treatments (Thanks to everyone who donated to her treatment and the $88,070 pesos collected here) her condition has recently taken an urgent turn.

In June 2026, Fanny and Omar had to travel urgently to Morelia to receive the results of her latest medical tests. Unfortunately, the needle biopsy report (from CELTE Laboratory) revealed that the cancer is still there, now present in a lymph node on the left side of her neck. This means Fanny requires an immediate new surgery and additional oncology treatments to halt the progress of the disease.

Fanny and Omar are an incredibly hardworking couple who make a living from tourism and a small family shop in Barra de Potosí, a beautiful, semi-pristine area near Ixtapa Zihuatanejo. Omar provides boat tours, fishing trips, and whale watching, and together they support their two children, Julián and Karla.

How will your donation be used?

Fanny and Omar have always been the very first to lend a hand to their community during natural disasters or local hardships. Today, cancer has knocked on their door once again, and it is our turn to ensure they do not fight this second round alone.
