My name is Samantha. The other night, my daughter jumped out of my car at a stoplight and ran across 3 lanes of traffic because she saw this lil guy on the side of the road. He looked like he had been hit by a car. We have taken him to a vet to see if he had a chip; he doesn't. It turns out he was not hit by a car but has a bad infection in his ear (he can't even lift it up) as well as mange. This cat, my son has named Gerald, really needs some medication and every shelter, vet, and humane society we call refuse to help or want to charge so much, and we can't afford to pay the fees they want. The only place that was willing to take him in wanted us to pay $75 to drop him off. This is not something we want to do as it was not a no-kill shelter. We just really want to help this cat get better. If you are willing and able, please help us take care of this poor baby!!
