​Our Story

​Hello to our friends, neighbors, and community. We are the faces behind Hand Upon Detailing and Ceramic Coatings. More importantly, we are a family of four—myself, my husband, and our two wonderful children—who have poured every ounce of our hearts, late nights, and savings into building a business we truly believe in.

​We didn’t just start a ceramic coating and Paint Protection Film (PPF) shop to work on cars; we started it to build a legacy for our kids and to provide a specialized, high-quality service to the community we love. For a long time, we were on the right track. We saw the smiles on our customers’ faces when their vehicles looked better than the day they left the showroom. We felt the pride of providing for our family through honest, meticulous work.

​The Unexpected turn

​Recently, our world was turned upside down. We became victims of a sophisticated fraud scheme that stripped our business of its operating capital. In an instant, the "safety net" we worked so hard to build was gone. This was all FDIC covered by the bank and would take 1day to 90 days to get back. It took 90 days to investigate and have the funds back. We were left to pay for everything out of pocket ( company building rent, business and health insurance, ran payroll,for our 7 employees which is the most we have had

before, and home personal ect. with loans that got worse and worse as time went by.

By the time we got the money back from the bank, it was all spent already.

​Because of this theft, we have fallen behind on everything. As many of you know, a specialized business like ours requires a specific environment to perform high-end installs, and losing our location would mean the end of our livelihood. But it doesn't stop at the shop doors. As small business owners, our work and our lives are one and the same. We are now struggling to cover our family’s health insurance premiums and the basic utilities that keep our home running, along with the rent at our home.

​It is a humbling and heartbreaking position to be in. We are used to being the ones who help, the ones who work hard to solve problems, and the ones who provide. Asking for help is the hardest thing we’ve ever had to do, but we are doing it for our children and for the dream we aren't ready to give up on.

​Why We Are Fighting

​We aren't looking for a handout; we are looking for a bridge. We have the skill, we have the passion, and we still have the drive to work 15-hour days to make this right. We just need to get back on level ground so the fraud that happened to us doesn't become the thing that defines our family's future.

​Settling outstanding business bills that have piled up since the fraud occurred.
