Our names are Tammy (35) and Chris (36). As we approach our 6th wedding anniversary, we should be celebrating love, laughter, and the life we’ve built together. Instead, we’re facing the hardest chapter of our lives—and we’re asking for your help to hold on to the future we’ve always dreamed of.

Cancer Has Changed Everything

I was recently diagnosed with Stage 3 breast cancer. Those three words—“You have cancer”—have echoed in our hearts every day since. As I prepare to begin aggressive treatment, I’m also forced to face a devastating reality: chemotherapy will most likely take away my ability to have children.

In the midst of fighting for my life, I’m also fighting for the chance to be a mother.

Our Dream of Becoming Parents

Our journey to parenthood has already been filled with heartbreak. We’ve endured two miscarriages, each one leaving us shattered. Even through the pain, we never gave up hope. We always believed that one day, we would welcome a child into our home—a child to love, protect, and raise together.

Now, that dream is slipping away. Time is running out.

Fertility preservation—through egg retrieval, hormone treatments, and storage—is our only chance. But these procedures must be done before I begin chemotherapy. And tragically, they are not covered by insurance.

A Second Health Crisis We Can’t Ignore

As we prepare for this urgent medical journey, my husband is battling his own unexplained health situation. Over the past year, he has lost nearly 190 pounds without trying. Despite endless tests and doctor visits, we still don’t have answers. The fear of the unknown has added another layer of pain and stress to our already overwhelming situation.

We are both physically, emotionally, and financially exhausted.
