Last fall, I was diagnosed with stage 3 cancer. I had a procedure completed with the hopes of removing all of the cancer. I have missed several weeks of work, which depleted all my paid time off. Due to policies through my employer, I have been informed that I cannot use anticipated leave or leave donations at this time. This will require me to be unpaid for a month at this time. I also have another procedure scheduled for March that will require some missed work as well. It is difficult for me to ask for help, especially in this manner; however, I have been encouraged by several people to do so at this time to better provide for my family. Thank you!
