A Family's Desperate Plea: Escaping the Cycle of Suffering i

I am Rami Mohammed al-Khodary from Palestine Gaza City

I talk to you with a heavy heart with the weight of my family's struggle. Our world was turned upside down on October 12, 2023, and we were forced to flee our house in northern Gaza, leaving behind everything we knew and loved, a family of 10.

Now we find ourselves in Deir al-Balah, southern Gaza, currently living in a small, unprepared warehouse, lacking even the most basic necessities such as water and electricity. With ten of us confined to this space for far fewer, every day is a battle for survival.

Adding to the challenges we face is the arrival of a new member of our family, my brother's newborn baby. Born in these difficult circumstances, he faces a future without proper medical care or even the most basic necessities such as milk and vaccinations.

We dream of escaping this cycle of suffering, finding shelter and hope elsewhere. But the path to freedom is blocked by exorbitant fees, an insurmountable obstacle for a family already teetering on the brink of despair.

That's why we turn to you, with hope in our hearts and call for help on our lips. Your support, no matter how small, can make a big difference to us. It can mean the difference between continuing hardship and an opportunity for a better life.
