Support Tony and Sue after tragic house fire
Donation protected
On Tuesday, October 31st, the Southwick home of Anthony and Susan Grabowski was devastated by a fire that gutted much of the structure, damaging or destroying most of their possessions. Even more tragically, their dog Twill, a much loved companion, did not survive. They are heartbroken by this loss.
Well-known for their generosity, Sue and Tony have always offered a warm welcome to family, friends, and neighbors in their home- the same house that Tony grew up in. And though they are two of the toughest, most resilient people you could ever meet, they are now in need of the kind of help they would readily give, but would never ask for.
Insurance will ultimately cover the cost of repairs, but the damage is extensive, and it will be many months until Sue and Tony are settled in their home again. We hope that the collected donations will help with immediate and unexpected expenses- including the quick replacement of necessary medical equipment- and make them more comfortable while they are displaced.
Southwick's first responders provided critical support and care when Sue and Tony needed it most. Our wish is that the support of the greater community will continue to ease their burden and bring them hope in the difficult days ahead.
