Services for Anthony Mellows and Joanne Ratte are set for June 15, 2024. 9am Notre Dame church in Watervill, Maine. To be followed by a celebration of life at 11am located at St Bridget's Recreation Hall in Vassalboro Maine. Please message me if there are any questions or directions needed.

SO FAR WE'VE RAISED 1/3 OF THE AMOUNT NEEDED. THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO'S GIVEN PRAYERS AND SUPPORT. These funds are for cremation and services of two family members who have been a part of our community for decades. This is to support losing a woman's youngest child and mother in a short time frame. Please share, donate and send your condolences and support.
- Anthony was a bright spark who fought a brain tumor at 16 that left him challenged. His family has supported him and helped navigate through all these years. ANTHONY MELLOWS had a life cut short in so many ways. Surviving a traumatic brain injury at 16 left him compromised. Wanting to live life fully was a hardship that he faced for half his life. He left this world quietly at the tender age of 33.
- JOANNE RATTE is a long standing member of the Vasalboro community and has terminal end stage cancer as well as advanced Alzheimer's and she's currently in the last stages of life.
This has been a very trying time for the family financially. The winter storm damage to their home and lost time at work has weighed heavily. Anthony's death has been devastating. It is financially impossible for his mother to take bereavement time without help. The family appreciates any support and help through this time.
Any donations will help enable the family to afford the costs for cremations and hopefully a ceremony for a Celebration of Life for each of these 2 family members.
UPDATE: Still need to raise funds for cremation and services. Every donation is appreciated.
