On the morning of June 11, what should have been a normal school drop-off turned into every parent’s nightmare.
As Jesus and Adriana were taking their children to school, they were followed into the school parking lot by ICE agents. In front of their children and other students, the family was surrounded. Jesus was violently pulled from the car despite having a previous shoulder injury.
Their 13-year-old and 7-year-old children witnessed the entire traumatic incident — watching their father taken away in fear and confusion in a place where children are supposed to feel safe.
No child should have to experience this.
School is meant to be a place of learning, stability, and safety. Instead, these children were left terrified, heartbroken, and unsure if they will see their parents again. , trying to process the fear and uncertainty of what comes next.
We are raising funds to help cover legal fees and emergency expenses so Jesus and Adriana can fight to remain together and reunite with their children. Immigration legal representation is expensive, but having strong legal support can make all the difference for families facing separation.
This family has always worked hard to care for their children and build a better future. Today, they need their community to stand beside them during one of the hardest moments of their lives.
