I assume most reading this know me already, but for those who don't, my name is Frank. I am 55. I've been a hardworking and diligent person all my life. Like many at this time, expenses have exceeded my income. I am not unemployed, but I am underemployed. I am doing all that I can to reverse that situation.
In the meantime, I have fallen behind on the rent (a very fair rate, by the way, we are not living beyond our means). My two teenage children still live with me, and my daughter helps as much as she can with her part-time income. I am the sole source of transportation for all in the family, so it is hard for me to work a 9 to 5. Instead, I am working two steady part-time jobs and another that fluctuates while still looking for better work and/or gigs.
In the meantime, I need some help in getting caught up in order to avoid a possible eviction (and my landlords have been more than patient with me). I do not blame them or anyone else for my current set of circumstances. I know others are going through similar situations. If you are, please take care of yourself and your own. But if you are among the more fortunate at this time and helping me won't negatively impact you and your family's needs, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for taking the time to read this.
