A Family Shattered

On Sunday February 11th as Laurie prepared dinner for her family, her husband Jon May, a 20+ year Wenatchee resident, was resting in his room. Upon opening the bedroom door Laurie noticed something was terribly wrong with her husband.  As she ran to his side agony set in..then panic. Her husband  was gone. Efforts to try and revive him were useless, Jon was gone.. Laurie and her 13 year old daughter Jordan are left without their provider. Laurie has worked as a lunch lady for the Eastmont school district for 8 years. The modest earnings acted as a supplemental income for the family. Laurie and Jordan are now facing losing their family home and have no savings to bridge the gap.
Jon was beloved by all that new him and his kind heart. He was a loving and committed family man that worked so hard to provide for his family. He loved this valley and the people in it. Jobs friends, clients and colleagues are to numerous to count.
Jon is survived by his wife, children, grandchildren and every member of his family.
