A Family Piano

Hello friends,

I have done a thing. I got a piano. Not just any piano, but a Japanese made grand piano in all shiny black and with tuned string ends for maximum resonance and tonal color. It's a 5'6" grand and it weighs about 650 lbs. And we moved it. Already. Ooooof. I found the piano on Craigslist after a searching diligently for several months. An ad popped up with no picture and a mispelling of the brand name, Kawai. It was an estate sale put on by two lovely ladies who told me that someone was already ready to pick it up. I checked back in later in the day and discovered much to my delight that the people hadn't come to pick up the piano...and would I like to drive over to see the piano. Oh boy would I. Autumn and I drove right from the softball diamonds where she'd been playing her tournament and arrived right on time to see this magestic piano.

The piano itself was $650. Moving it involved a giant u-haul, friends with muscles (thank you Ty and Travis! And Chris! And Autumn, Camryn Charlie, Kyren, and Leora!) There was $200 in moving blankets. I also fabricated a piano board. That was fun. And I'll be getting a piano dolly that will permanently sit under the piano so that I can move the piano around the living room as needed. I'm also getting a tuning kit so I can tune it myself. This whole adventure is around $2,000.

Ok, so what is in this for you?

Musical Compositions.

For $10, I will send you a 2 minute recording of sonic wonder. Something expansive and meditative. It can be your way of decompressing from the stresses of life. Put on this two minutes and allow yourself to reconnect to the real you.

For $20, I will send you 2 different 2 minute recordings of sonic wonder. Use one to reconnect to yourself. Use the other one to reconnect to the resonance of the Earth.

For $50 I'll send you a 5 minute recording of me playing this piano. You'll hear the very fairies themselves dancing in the sonic wonder of this beautiful instrument.

For $100 I'll send you a 5 minute recording of me playing this piano...for you. You'll tell me the thing for which you are fighting in life...the thing that consumes your energy and keeps you awake at night. I'll transduce this into sonic resonance. This music will be your montage music of your successful rise.

For $250, I'll send you two 5 minute recordings that represent that for which you are fighting. Some of us have multiple adventures going at once! And I am here to support you.

For $1,000, I'll send you 5 recordings that are each around 5 minutes. I'll make variations on the theme of that for which you are fighting. This is your time for meditation and amplification of the resonance of your passion.

Musical Deliveries: I won't be setting up the piano until September of this year when we move into our new home. I'll need to get the piano tuned and ready to play, so it might not be until the end of September that I deliver your musical creations. I will, however, send every patron a meditative guitar recording to support your practice of living on this Earth with grace, compassion, and love.
