Help a family make a way, out of no way...

When I enrolled at Notre Dame, I thought that was going to be the beginning of a very prosperous life for me. But in truth, it has been a roller coaster ride of ups and downs since I graduated. I am making this GoFundMe to humbly ask for assistance.

I have been working contract jobs since 2021, when I moved to a suburb of Atlanta, GA. Last year, my most recent contract abruptly ended and to date, I have not found another position. I had a new assignment lined up, but then a back injury derailed those plans. I opened my house to a friend to share the burden and save us both. I vouched for her and convinced my landlord that we would be better together. I was wrong. My friend took advantage of me, and she buried me to save herself. She jumped ship, leaving me to finish out my lease alone. My landlord has refused to renew my lease, so as of July 9th, my 11-year-old daughter and I will be homeless.

I have an interview on Tuesday for a project management job, but no current prospects for a place to live. I am asking for help to pay off my landlord, and for the deposit and first month's rent for a new place for us. I'm sure I will be back on my feet shortly, but in the meantime, a friend has graciously offered to give us a place to stay, but that is only temporary. Please help us to come up with the money we need to find a place of our own and to pay off the balance on the lease. I remain prayerful and thankful for any amount you can give.
