A family in our community desperately needs our help

Hi my name is Krista and my family and I have been living in Shanty Bay for almost 19 years. The Village Milk has been the spot we visit whether it’s a package pick up, after school popsicles or a dozen eggs on a Sunday. Please help this family and see the message below from another Shanty Bay neighbour.

Hello Shanty Bay Community. I am posting this message on behalf of Jung-mi Lee (Michelle) and Jong-soo Jung (Paul) who have been our SB neighbours and owned the Village Milk for 18 years. As many of you know, Paul has not been well for quite some time. Because of these health concerns, and wanting to move closer to their children and grandchildren in Burlington, Paul and Michelle felt it was time to sell the store. Paul has been in hospital over the past number of weeks undergoing many tests. A couple of days ago they received the very difficult news that Paul has brain cancer. He is undergoing treatment immediately. Michelle wants the Shanty Bay community to know how much she has appreciated the kind words, check-ins, and prayer during this time. Their last day at the Village Milk will be May 16th. Please continue to stop in and support this family who have been a vital part of our community for so many years. ❤️
