Hello everyone, I'm starting this go fund me for my best friend as she is struggling with a total of 16 medical issues, still trying to maintain her part time job l, all while taking care of 3 children 2 of which are disabled and have significant issues, her husband whom is disabled, and took in her brother in law whom is disabled as well.
As of May 5th 2021, the family finally got approved for section 8 and it should start as of June 1st as long as everything is completed by May 13th. The rent, ui. and gas all have to be current and have no past due balances and the inspection has to be passed. Can we please help this family finally get the assistance they have so desperately needed for so long??
Mom was in the hospital over the weekend and found out she needs 4 more surgeries and then came home monday to have her oldest daughter admitted to the psych ward. Mom is falling apart while trying to hold everything together.
While two of the children get disability moms not allowed to work more than a part time job, while also fighting for her disability, her husband's and her brother in laws. It's been a complete disaster, ssi even made her cut down her part time hours as is just to file her disability. At the current moment shes buying herself depends pullups because the insurance won't cover it, and she has multiple accidents a day to the point she cant leave her house. They also pay for a psychiatrist out of pocket, because the Dr is really good with her daughters needs and they dont accept their insurance. Their oldest daughter who is disabled even needs a medical weighted blanket which cost about $350 to $400. Bill's are piling up and shes not sure where to turn at this point! So here I am trying to help her get caught up on all her Bill's, and stay afloat until disability approves her claim. If you are unable to donate, I understand as times are tough with covid but please at least take the time to share. It essentially could take months for ssi but we are praying and having faith. All fund will go to Bill's and out of pocket medical expenses.
