I never imagined I would be sharing something like this, but our family is drowning financially right now and we truly need help.

Over the last several months, we’ve fallen further and further behind trying to keep our heads above water. We were two months behind on our mortgage and recently used the money we had to make a payment in hopes of protecting our home while we wait to hear back about mortgage assistance we applied for. Unfortunately, the process can take up to 30 days and in the meantime everything else is collapsing around us.

Our credit card is maxed out from purchasing things we couldn’t avoid. Right now we are struggling to pay for electricity, groceries, our car payment and other essentials. After paying the mortgage, we simply do not have enough left to cover everything else.

To make things harder, the amount of overtime Jake is able to work was recently cut down significantly, which has impacted our income even more during a time we were already barely staying afloat.

We have two babies depending on us and the fear of losing everything we’ve worked for has been overwhelming. We are trying so hard to hold our family together and make it through this season without losing our home, transportation, or ability to provide basic needs for our children.

This is incredibly hard to share publicly. We are not people who like asking for help and we’ve tried everything we can think of before reaching this point. We are doing our best to get back on our feet, but right now we are overwhelmed.
