Help a Family Rebuild After a Devastating House Fire

This morning, a very close family friend experienced every parent’s worst nightmare.

An accidental house fire in Maidstone has left a family of four — a mother, father, an 8-year-old daughter and a 5-year-old son — with absolutely nothing. Their home and belongings have been lost, and they now face the overwhelming task of rebuilding their lives from scratch.

The father is thankfully safe, while their 8-year-old daughter is spending the night in hospital and, thankfully, is expected to be okay. Tragically, the mother and their 5-year-old son are currently in intensive care.

Right now, this family needs all the love, support and practical help we can give them.

We are raising money to help them begin again — to provide somewhere safe to stay, clothes, food, essential items for the children, and the countless necessities that a family needs after losing their home and everything they own.

No family should have to think about replacing beds, clothing, school essentials and everyday belongings while their loved ones are in hospital. We want to take away at least some of that burden and give them the chance to focus on what matters most: recovering and being together again.
