A Family Get Away for Jakey

Jenny and Andy Shufelt's little boy Jakey is too young to be fighting for his life, again.  His little body has endured so much, and because of covid-19, he has had to miss precious time with his cousins.

When his family received the news that not only had Jakey's cancer returned, it had returned with a vengeance, they knew that their little boy needed to spend time with his family before beginning his next rounds of treatment. 

During his treatments, Jakey will face extended hospital stays and an even more compromised immune system.  He will not be able to spend time with his loved ones while he is fighting, so his family needs to get together to lift his spirits before.  

Jakey's doctors agree that if they followed careful guidelines, the family could spend time together safely and that this would be good for Jakey. 

They would like to rent a cabin that is large enough to house their group of 12, so that they can get away to some new scenery and love on their favorite super hero.

This fundraiser is to raise funds to give Jakey a memory of love and sunshine to fuel his next fight and to give his family a chance to be together.

Any additional money raised will support Jakey and his mom and dad through his treatments.
