A Family after Tornado Destruction

Hi! My name is Brooke and I'm here, organizing this fund, for a way for my family to begin to pick up the pieces from the tragic, unimaginable, sudden loss of their home and everything within, after a tornado unexpectedly tore through and demolished everything they have ever known.

I received a call Sunday afternoon from my brother, Jon, frantically screaming that him and my mom had been hit by a tornado and my mother was trapped inside. After having him repeat it a few times to ensure I understood what he was saying had happened, I immediately rushed to the house as fast as I could, not sure what I was driving into or exactly how devastating the actual scene would be, just worried that they were ok and hoping my brother was slighty exaggerating with this story... although I could hear the terror in his voice and I knew it was real. By the time I arrived, rescuers had retrieved my mom from the debris, her and my brother were in ambulances headed to the hospital. The story they both have lived to tell will send chills through your bones. With God's grace, they both have only suffered a few lacerations and broken bones. My mom has a broken femur which has required surgery but she is doing well recovering.

This fundraiser is particularly special to me. This was my uncle's home. My mother and brother lived with my "Uncle B". My Uncle B, he is a giver, a provider, a hard worker, and just a humbled and nice guy. If you've ever met him, then you know. He is who my heart breaks for. He has worked so hard, for so long, for everything he had and had shared it ALL with everyone of us ALL of the time. I want to be able keep his spirits up, mind positive and in prayer, while he and our family and close friends begin to clean up sort through and assess what's left.

It has to be the most lost feeling to not have ANYTHING and it hurts to see them hurt. All three of them have lost EVERY SINGLE THING hey had. If you feel it in heart to contribute in any way, we would be forever grateful ♥️ Please share with our community. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
