Brothers. Sisters. Fellow Marines,

Today, I received the call that none of us ever want to receive. Our brother, Brian Hemphill, has fallen victim to his internal demons. He was a loving and devoted father, a member of the Havelock community, and a former Motor Transport Gunny (Ret.) for the LAAD community. Brian recently went through a divorce and leaves behind his ex-wife and his 9-year-old son, Jayden Hemphill.

While money will never solve the pain or fill the void, it will go directly to Jayden, an aspiring athlete who plays both football and baseball. This fund will show him that no matter the circumstances, Marines WILL take care of their own.

I ask, with a heavy heart, for your help during these difficult times. I know Brian would do the same for any of us.
