Ayuda a Enid Mirlay a combatir su cancer.

Hola a todos:

El lunes 21 de agosto comencé las sesiones de radioterapia y de quimioterapia que ayudarán a potenciar la radio.

Iré de lunes a viernes a que me hagan la radioterapia y la quimio será los lunes por vía endovenosa además de por vía oral de lunes a viernes. Un tratamiento de seis semanas que pensado para reducir el tamaño del tumor.

Hasta ahora me he sentido bien y sigo con mi ánimo muy en alto. En gran parte por todos vosotros que estáis tan pendientes de mi salud.

Muchas gracias a todos los que habéis donado y / o compartido esta campaña. Realmente hace una gran diferencia.

UPDATE - 24/08/2023

On Monday 21st August I started the radiotherapy and chemotherapy sessions, which will help to boost the radiotherapy.

I will go from Monday to Friday for radiotherapy and the chemo will be intravenous on Mondays as well as orally from Monday to Friday. A six-week treatment that is designed to reduce the size of the tumor.

So far, I have been feeling good and my spirits are very high. In large part because of all of you who have been so concerned about my health.

Thank you so much to all of you who have donated and/or shared this campaign. It really makes a big difference.

Hola a todos, esta campaña la ha montado la familia para mi tía. Os incluyo abajo sus palabras:

Soy Enid Mirlay Rodríguez Travieso, tengo 72 años y siempre me han caracterizado como una mujer vital y alegre; muy determinada de disfrutar de la vida en todo momento. No solo de los grandes momentos, también de los pequeños en el día a día. Tengo una familia grande y ruidosa que quiero mucho y que me quiere mucho a mi. Algunos siguen conmigo en Venezuela, otros tantos se han ido a vivir al extranjero. Creo que no hay continente donde no tenga familia.

En estos momentos estoy pasando por una situación de salud muy delicada al haber sido diagnosticada con adenocarcinoma de colon. Yo estoy determinada a combatirlo, pero en Venezuela el tratamiento y todo lo que le rodea es muy costoso. Por eso estoy solicitando ayuda en el proceso. Los fondos donados estarán todos destinados a pagar los medicamentos, las estancias en el hospital y el acompañamiento que necesitaré en el día a día.

Hello everyone, this campaign has been set up for my aunt by the family. Please read her words below:

I am Enid Mirlay Rodríguez Travieso, I am 72 years old and I have always been characterised as a vital and cheerful woman; very determined to enjoy life at all times. Not only the big moments, but also the small ones, each and every day. I have a large and noisy family that I love very much and that really loves me back. Some of them are still near me in Venezuela, others have gone to live abroad. I don't think there is a continent where I don't have a family member.

At the moment I am going through a very delicate health situation, having been diagnosed with adenocarcinoma of the colon. I am determined to fight it, but in Venezuela the treatment and everything that surrounds it is very expensive. That is why I am asking for help with the process. The funds donated will all be used to pay for medication, hospital stays and the support I will need on a day-to-day basis.
