It is with the heaviest of hearts that we share the news that Matt has passed away early hours on 14th February.

Matt died peacefully in hospice, with his wife Nicki and his family by his side. Surrounded by love, he fought bravely until the very end, with the same courage, strength, and warmth that he showed throughout this unimaginable journey.

Even in his final days, Matt was still able to laugh and bring light to those around him, a true reflection of the remarkable person he was.

We want to thank every single person who has supported Matt and his family through this GoFundMe page, through donations, messages, and acts of kindness. Your generosity has meant more than words can ever express and has provided comfort and support during the most difficult time of their lives.

While this is not the outcome any of us had hoped for, we hope Matt will be remembered for the love he had for Nicki and the children, for his determination, and for the joy he brought to so many.

We continue to hold Nicki and the children close in our hearts as they face the weeks and months ahead, along with his dad, brothers, and sister. Any ongoing support to help provide stability and security for the children would mean so much to the family.
