This is the handball team representing Envigado — 18 kids aged 13 to 15.
They train and train and train.
They train up to 5 times a week, with competitive matches almost every weekend.
They’re from Colegio Colombo Británico, and they represent Envigado, but they’ve also represented Antioquia, becoming a well-known team in Colombia.
They’ve made our department proud in national competitions.
In January 2026, they won _Baby Balonmano_ at the _Festival de Festivales_, beating 19 rival teams. This time the challenge is bigger: our kids are going to compete in an international championship. Yes, they will represent Colombia in the tournament held this October in Peru. These are 18 athletes who chose to grow and mature by competing, pushing themselves, making sacrifices, doing a thousand things as kids that will shape the adults they’ll become.
It’s a sports club that supports them, two coaches who give their knowledge, time, tough love, motivation, but above all dedication to each of these young prospects.
We are 18 families who have done everything, snack sales, food sales, donations…
Today we want this dream — born from the effort of these kids — to become motivation for the adults, knowing we couldn’t be better represented in Peru. We need to cover flights, lodging, and meals, and we are a team… none of the 18 players or the 2 coaches can be left behind.
