Hi everyone, my name is Amiyah, and I’ve been given an amazing opportunity to study abroad to Costa Rica!!

This program will allow me to step outside of my comfort zone, experience a new culture, and grow academically, personally, and professionally. As a nursing student, being exposed to different communities and global perspectives will help me become a more compassionate and culturally aware nurse. This program explores the intersection of health, wellness, and sustainable living in Costa Rica, a country known for its high life expectancy, strong public healthcare system, and commitment to environmental sustainability.
