Help Us Continue Our 7-Year Journey to Parenthood

After seven years of fighting to start our family, we never imagined we would be writing this.

Our journey through infertility has been long, emotional, and incredibly challenging. Over the past seven years, we have worked with three fertility doctors, five dieticians, and four consultants. We have attended countless appointments, undergone extensive testing, followed every recommendation given to us, and remained hopeful through every setback.

Despite all of this, we continue to be denied NHS funding for IVF.

The reason we have repeatedly been given is that my BMI is considered too low. However, after years of assessments and medical investigations, every specialist involved has confirmed that there is nothing medically wrong with me. Time and time again, we have been told that I am healthy, naturally slim, and physically fit to proceed with IVF treatment. We have pages of reports supporting this.

It is heartbreaking to be told that we are suitable candidates for treatment, yet still be refused funding because of a number that does not reflect my overall health. After seven years of advocating for ourselves, attending appointments, appealing decisions, and trying to meet every requirement asked of us, we feel completely exhausted and let down by a system that seems unable to look beyond a single measurement.

We have now reached a point where we can no longer wait. Our dream of becoming parents is too important to put on hold any longer. With no further options available to us through the NHS, we have made the difficult decision to pursue IVF privately.

As many people know, private fertility treatment comes with significant costs, including consultations, medication, procedures, and ongoing care. This is why we are reaching out for help.

All Donated money will be going towards our journey in Private IVF, all proof will me posted regularly. We aren’t asking you to pay all of it, we are just asking for a small amount of help.
