We are Melissa and Sunshine, reaching out on behalf of our dear friend Josh—a devoted husband, and father guided by a deep connection to self-sufficiency, fostering community, and building a home rooted in faith.

Just 4 short years ago, Josh and his wife moved to Sparta, NC with their 14 year old daughter and started RootLevel Farms. They began to care deeply for their land and community—applying permaculture concepts, growing food, helping neighbors in need, sharing their knowledge of sustainable living, and forging deep friendships that uplift and inspire us all.

Tragically, Josh recently suffered two ruptured aneurysms, requiring urgent brain surgeries that saved his life but left him facing months of intensive recovery, therapy, and further procedures. This crisis has halted their dreams for RootLevel Farm, bringing staggering medical bills, lost income, and challenges in caring for Riley.

Josh, who has always been the first to help others, now needs our support. Your donations will cover medical costs, rehabilitation, and family needs, helping him heal and return to serving our community with renewed faith.
