Help Michael achieve his Wish.

Hello Everyone, I'm stacey, niece of Michael, i just wanted to get the ball rolling for my uncle, his wife and his family to make some memories to cherish.

Our beloved Uncle Michael, a man of immense strength, love, and laughter, is facing the toughest battle of his life. In January 2025, after years of bravely fighting cancer since his initial diagnosis in 2017, he received the devastating news of a Stage 4 recurrence.

Michael's journey has been a testament to his incredible spirit. He endured surgery to remove tumors, followed by grueling chemotherapy and radiotherapy in 2022. These treatments took a heavy toll, causing severe breathing difficulties, loss of taste, and the need for a PEG feeding tube due to swallowing complications. He battled numerous chest infections from aspiration, and the radiation left him with excruciating jaw bone corrosion. Despite all this, Michael remained the light of our lives, his humor and loving nature shining through.

He’s the funniest, most caring man we know, a true role model who taught us all what it means to be a good person. He’s a devoted husband, father, and grandfather, and his family is his world. He constantly expresses his love and pride, reminding us all of the importance of family bonds. Michael has shown us the strength in vulnerability, the power of emotion, and the true meaning of resilience. He’s been a guiding father figure to me and my sister, and we are incredibly fortunate to have him in our lives.

Now, facing this new challenge, we want to give Michael and his family, especially his amazing wife Emma, the opportunity to create precious memories. They've always dreamed of a family trip with there children, a chance to experience the beauty of the country together. We also want to alleviate the financial burden that comes with this illness, allowing Emma to take time off work to be by Michael’s side.

This fundraiser is about more than just a holiday. It's about providing Michael, Emma, their children, and grandchild with the chance to experience joy, peace, and togetherness during this difficult time. It's about creating lasting memories that will live on in their hearts forever.
