Hello, friends and family. We're writing to you today with news that has our hearts bursting with pride and joy. Our son, Matthew, has been given a truly incredible opportunity—a chance to live out his biggest dream.

Matthew was recently selected from his Barça summer soccer camp to attend a week of specialized training in Barcelona during March Break 2026. This is more than a trip; it's a dream come true for a boy whose passion for the game is undeniable. We've often heard him in his room, dribbling the ball at every chance he gets, and during the isolation of COVID-19, his daily distraction was practicing his skills outside—so dedicated that he would stay out in the cold until he couldn't feel his feet anymore.

We've watched him pour his heart and soul into this sport for years. Matthew's journey hasn't been easy; he's had to prove himself over and over, playing on seven different teams and facing countless tryouts. Through it all, his love for the game has never wavered. We believe he has earned this with every practice, every game, and every ounce of effort he's given.

As a family, we've faced some financial struggles recently after having to move for the 3rd time in 3 years due to being posted (military) and a house sale gone bad, and we're being honest when we say we were worried we couldn't make this happen for him.
