Hi friends and family,

I know times are tough right now, and I truly understand the financial struggles so many of us are facing in today’s economy. Because of that, I’ve decided to opt out of having a traditional baby shower. Instead, I’m asking for support in helping me fund something that I believe will be even more meaningful—a doula.

As much as I would love to celebrate baby girl with a shower, I feel that having a doula by my side during pregnancy, labor, and postpartum will make the biggest difference. A doula provides emotional support, physical comfort, and guidance throughout birth, helping me feel more confident and cared for. They also support my husband, giving him reassurance and practical tools so he can be more involved and at ease through the process.

For us, this isn’t just an “extra”—it’s the kind of help that can reduce stress, create a more positive birth experience, and give us much-needed support during the early days of welcoming our daughter.
