A Dollar For David

Hello,

My name is David Behnke, I am 62 years old and I am doing something I’ve never done before or would be comfortable with…. I am asking for help.

I’ve been a carpenter for over 40 years. In 2015, I was diagnosed with prostate cancer. The drugs and therapy have worked for me until a few months ago. I was told in April of this year that they are no longer working, and the cancer has now spread to my bones. I started chemotherapy on June 1st and have had 2 infusions since then and THIS IS KICKING MY BUTT.

I had to tell my boss that I need to retire early to take care of myself….. BUT the bills do not stop, and the drugs/treatment are very expensive. So, if anyone can spare anything at all, a dollar or anything you could do, would be much appreciated.

A DOLLAR FOR DAVE

Friends and Family, this is my brother-in-law, David. We have known each other since Jr High school and of course Jerry, his whole life. He has NEVER in his life asked for help and it was very difficult for him to even ask us. WE didn’t even know he had been fighting this fight until he visited us and let it slip!!!!

So ANYTHING you could share would mean the world to us and him. He’s an amazing man, so strong, giving, kind and fun loving. I am posting a picture of him with us and one that he just sent a week ago after having to shave his head. Jerry ALSO shaved his head in support!

PRAYERS are also definitely welcomed and SHARING his story would also be much appreciated.
