The Ongoing ODDessy of a Dog and her Human

Donation protected
7/14/24 -- Jolene and I are back at Tom's compound until Burningman is over.

At the gate, as Jolene sniffed through the fence and the whole Yard Krew heard us arriving, a veritable forest of happy tails began to wag.
Jolene integrated with her old yard mates beautifully. And I have never felt more joyously received.

Refamiliarizing ourselves to the environment is discombobulating and there are certain inconveniences that take a minute to settle into. (Re: I've gotten soft.)
But we know that we will be sheltered consistently until early September, so that is the key thing.

I really, really, really want to show the deepest appreciation that I possibly can: I would not have made it through these last 6 months if it were not for the nearly one hundred people who have kept Jolene and I housed. And that have given me the time to get myself started towards regular income and a steady address once again.
The whole experience has helped me deeply retrain my toxic, erroneous sense of isolation and 'independence'. (I was born on July 4th, go figger.) That is invaluable.

Soon, after posting this, I will discontinue the GoFundMe project of "The Ongoing Adventures of Jolene and Her Human".
