We are deeply saddened to share that our longtime family friend and tenant, Roy, passed away due to complications from cancer. He was a man with a big personality, a wild sense of humor, and a love for fishing, biking, and the simple joys of being outdoors.
Our families have been connected for more than a decade. We rented to his father until the end of his life, and when his father passed, Roy stayed and became part of our extended family. He didn’t have much, but he had heart — and he had us.
He leaves behind a son, who is grieving this loss but unfortunately isn’t in a position to cover the costs of cremation and final arrangements. With no other family able to step in, the responsibility has fallen to us, and we want to make sure he is laid to rest with dignity and care.
We are asking for help to cover:
• Cremation expenses
• Basic memorial arrangements
• Remaining end‑of‑life costs
Any amount, no matter how small, will make a meaningful difference. If you’re unable to donate, sharing this page helps more than you know.
Thank you for helping us honor a man who made people laugh, loved the outdoors, and remained around us through so many chapters of life. He may not have had many people left, but he wasn’t alone — and with your support, we can give him the respectful farewell he deserves.
