My name is Jessica, and I’m raising funds for my aunt, Maria Lavoura. A few months ago, she, my uncle's sons, and family celebrated when her husband, Tony Lavoura, beat cancer. Months after being cancer-free, he tragically passed away unexpectedly on January 2, 2026. The shock of losing him so suddenly has left our family devastated — and unprepared financially.

Maria is now facing immediate costs for a proper memorial/cremation and final arrangements. As a single-income household, and with medical care costs piled up, she does not have the funds to cover funeral expenses. We are asking for help to give Tony Lavoura the dignified farewell he deserves and to allow our family time to grieve without the added burden of overwhelming costs.
